New York really was a world of its own. The atmosphere on the streets alone inspires a strong sense of individualism and creativity. New Yorkers always appear to be nonchalantly fashion conscious. The street style in New York is seemingly just as influential as the prestigious runway shows during their infamous fashion week. Being consumed by towering skyscrapers and high rise buildings down main streets of the city made me feel so inferior and being in such a fast-paced environment seemed totally intimidating at times, but that did not stop me from frequenting the hottest designer boutiques uptown. The food was delicious, although rumors of the portions of food being overwhelming were completely true. There was a lot of hip and dynamic concert venues that I hope some of my favourite musicians will grace, so I have a valid excuse to return to this inspirational city.
